Inboard Battery Connector

Mating-angles from 0° to 90° possible

For mobile phones and other thin applications SUYIN has added a right-angled spring type connector to its Battery Connector family. The 3-pole SMT battery link provides a contact pitch of 3.0mm and realizes mating angles between 0° and 90°. The component is placed at the PCB edge to be mounted in a cut-out of the PCB. Thus the contact point of the springs is almost in line with the PCB. Preloaded springs with self-cleaning contact design reach a contact force of maximum 200g/pin at max. operational stroke of 0.85mm. Surface mount solder latches at the sides secure a strong hold on the board. The specification guarantees an operation life of minimum 5,000 mating cycles. For automatic pick-and placement the series is supplied in reel package with plastic cap.
